ok riffman, i did not get a chance to completely read through your thread before i had to leave and now i cannot find it again. did you guys ever post those 10 pages needed for the conversion? just wondering. i need the advice b/c the decision of sky jacker 6" or leaf over front and rear w/ the axle swap is up in the air. thanks

Well, Dale just emailed me that he lost his job, which would mean that he's about to either have a whole lot more time on his hands, or a whole lot less while job hunting. No idea when the writeup will appear. Shoot him an email if you are curious.

that's what i'm talking about. i would just like a while thought out battle plan. i will go either way, leafs or springs just depends what i can find cheaper. i hopping the junk yards this weekend in search, but i need to know what to look for. thanks guys-russel

I haven't done the write up yet, though there is a lot of info on my thread in the Suspension page. I do have a 10 page writeup given to me by someone off a Ranger website. I can forward it (Word doc) to anyone interested. It gives some basic instructions. Anyone with specific q's about the conversion, costs, etc let me know.

Plus, the Word doc is for an EB Dana 44. I personally think shortening a fullsize axle is a WAY BETTER method and probably cheaper. My 2 cents.
