Hey Everyone , I needed somewhere to go for more Information on Building up my Explorer n this definately looks like the place to come , So i will probly be hanging out a fair bit here . Currently I have an 05 Ford Explorer Xlt Which is Bone Stock with roughly 60k miles . I bought it 3months ago with 57k miles for $11,000 With a 2 yr 24k mile Powertrain warranty . its my first ford , but i always Loved n admired the power that can be made with Ford motors . :)
I currently have a custom 4" SRI on the explorer but thats all ,. Stock elsewhere all around . My next Mod i was wondering about was Either A S/c kit or Possibly A Lightning trans N motor Swap With a shift Kit . someone told me they have a bell housing to mount up a Lightning trans , But i wasnt sure if the motor Swap would be doable . I have 3 Kids n need the Third row Seat . Otherwise . I woulda just bought the lightning first :P . But This made the wife happy . nowi just wanna Beef up the power big time so i can have my fun Too ;)
