I bought a 2004 explorer..So I thought it would be great to fix up my old 95 explorer for my grandson, He lives in Pennsylvania and he can start driving at 16..His birthday is 9/20 so I detailed the 95, made some dragon decals, bought dragon set covers, floor mates and steering wheel cover..(He likes dragons, what can I say!) Anyway got it looking cool...Then I take it to get the master cylinder and brakes fix. There is a part on the master cylinder thats obsolete and ford don't have any, And I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE!
It's on the side of the master cylinder (proportioning valve I think) If anyone can help or have any suggestions, I would be very thankful!!

P.S I'm new here,Is there a way to down load pictures to the thread?

did you try places like LMCTruck.com or one of the several vendors listed here in the forum?

It's called a pressure limiting valve (although some people call it a proportioning valve, that's not correct). It's going to be a junkyard part in all likelihood. Should be readily available though. Check the 'for sale' forum on here for the guy parting them out. Should have 'em there...
