hi everyone
how do i install running boards lights to an 2000 explorer 4door
ist has the lights hooked up all underneath and thru out the truck ..just don't know where to attach the red and black wires ..

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the performance lighting section. You have several options on how to wire it up. The first one would require splicing the wiring coming off of the parking light/headlight switch. The next option is to connect a separate switch onto an ignition controlled wire to only let it work with the key on. A constant 12 volt connection is not a good idea since it will drain the battery if you forget to turn it off after you leave the vehicle.
