Yup, you'll love em. It'll give your vehicle a different look. I wish my projectors didn't have the orange reflectors.

(Just another small mod idea that might help compliment the new lights) Why not paint all your gray plastic trim black?

thx for the fast reply.

ok im probably going to get these on ebay. if i do get them what bulbs do you recommend?

and about the trim: ya it would probably look pretty sick if the trim was black. i might have to add that to my list. just not a fan of preping and masking, lol

I have similar ones for a 2nd gen. Not the same make, so I can't vouch for quality, but i DO think they'd look badass on your truck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe those headlights are just stock, with a different look... so you should be able to use your normal bulbs... [HIDs should be on your list also.. lol..] As for masking n whatnot, the bumpers should be real easy.... well... on the 2nd gens it is because we can just yank the plastic off the metal..

I hope i can use stock bulbs(didnt know how much new bulbs cost, until i just looked), probably can because i think they are stock with different look like you said storlied.

and for the plastic, im not sure if the plastic pieces come off the metal, defiantly would be easier to paint.

One question
Its pretty easy to install these right? im reading in the Ford Manual that all you have to do is pry up two retainer pins until they stop to release the head lamp assembly from the vehicle and pull headlamp forward.

but when i searched it, i saw people having to remove their grill(maybe because of different year?)

tonydp, were did you buy yours?

As for the grill, it came stock with vehicle. Its the package my dad got when he bought the vehicle(grill, pinstripe, and taillight grills)

but it just happens that i saw the same grill in the LMC truck magazine i just got in the mail.http://www.lmctruck.com/

part #:50-5048
Description: TUBE GRILLE OVERLAY-STAINLESS
Application: 02-05 Explorer
List price:$274.94, which LMC sells for $219.95

another question: is there a special tool to remove restraining pins? my friends saying there is. if not whats the best tool to use?

I know this is a late reply and you've probably already done it, but the special tool I used is.......wait for it.....a claw hammer! Hope that helps, lol.

Also, does anyone know where I can get headlights like that, except silver instead of black to match my X's paint?
