What do you guys think about Ractive air filter. they look very similar to K&N execpt they have a body over them and intake is smaller, but the surface looks like the same. The reason is that I would like to instal one directly to the trottle body and run a hose to the grill to make some kind of ram air??? Here is a link http://ctamotorsports.cjb.net/ and go to the Ractive product dot on the left side

the one i saw on the site looks like it is alot smaller than a k&n or kkm, youd be doin better to go with a k&n and a flange and just mount it straight on to the MAS. another thing i noticed you said you wanted to mount it onto the throttle body(maybe you made i typo but if not...) you have to have the mass air sensor (MAS)connected inline with the intake for your engine to even run, your MAS is that metal tube thingy that mounts right onto the air box. im in the process of doing something very similar to what you are wanting to do just check out the thread:

i should have it done in a couple of days and ill be sure to keep everyone posted. if your lazy you can just order the kkm for about $90, alot of people love it(i just migth end up doing that if i cant get it work my way)
