Its always interesting to see cars we're used to seeing in the US in Europe.
The white light in the rear bumper is the backup lamp, while the red one is the rear fog light.
The sealed beams on the front are pretty common too.
Interesting that they use the Limited's grille, bumper and side moldings on the normal truck...
this was actually a German import..... came this way. They do outfit these cars, trucks a bit different for the european market. Another thing is that when you need parts you don't look for a specific model....... you just buy what's there. These are rare overseas.... I only saw like three of these in Poland....... one, a 97 with German plates.....
There's lot's of other ones though,,,,, Jeep Grand Cherokee (diesel), Opel Frontera (Isuzu Trooper), Nissan Patrol others.... I've got a catalogue with all the available trucks on their market..... neat.
2001 Explorer 4 door V6 only!! goes for around $40K....... base...
and yes, red is a fog light and white is reverse because they use original reverse lights as turn signals.......

Nice little euro-side marker also....
And what about those crazy license plates....
Must be a forginer......
Most of the cars out there are equiped with side markers. I just put some on my truck here. It's easier for people to see when I'm about to change lanes so we don't run into each other. License plates? these pictures were taken in Poland so the plates are polish. Last year they changed them though to "european style" plates...... white with black letters.
Because of the different plate size they had to install an extra plate mount on the back. Because of the european market Ford changed the mount from the bumper to the lift gate after 97 I thing. That's when they started importing Explorers to Europe. I've seen a 97 in Germany.....
