Im very happy to say that I just had my new 275/70/16 Pirreli Scorpian AT installed yesterday with no rubbing at all. They were installed on 95 Explorer Eddie Bauer which previously ran on stock 255/70/16 Firestone Wilderness At.

Thanks for the welcome, The list of mods is growing. I will soon be purchasing the new explorerprocomp 3inch suspension system for 2wd explorers. Not to sure what will come next after that, exhaust system or grill guard and lights...

I'm no lift expert, but I have a buddy who has a 6" Procomp lift on a Yukon and hates it. He had a lot of problems getting it set up and it still makes all kinds of noise, popping and banging as the susupension flexes, even when he's on pavement. Granted, these are two different vehicles and two different lifts, but you may want to check with others who own that lift and see what their experience was.

Just a thought.

LoneStar, I was under the impression that the ProComp 3" lift for 2wd Explorers was a spindle lift and it was made for the 98 - 01 Explorers. Are you sure that the new spindles will fit a 95??

I just checked the website and The lift is listed for 95-01 Explorers with 2wd. http://explorerprocomp.com/2wdfordsystems.html

Hmph! I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing that out. I could swear that the last time I looked at that site, it listed 98 - 01 2wd. Now I am interested in it. Have gotten a price for the system yet?

I just recently heard that it is running between $500 and $600. Just a little to pricey for me.

That actually may be a pretty reasonable price, considering the 1400 pricetag on the Trailmaster 4" (98 - 01). And I'm pretty sure that the Superlift and Skyjacker 4" lifts for pre - 95 Explorers are more than 600 as well.

BUT, I see now that I can't afford it either so I know what you mean!!!
