LMAO.... Yeah they wear, With an AMAZING side affect, You can actually get a headache/stomach ache at Highway speeds just from the sound...Life expectancy is low, If you even have a concern with whether or not they'll last, chances are you dont want em...Now Mud, THATS a differant story...Excellent Excellent Mud Tire...Jon I wasn't expecting the Cesna comment, man I busted up...

BigWillie, how have your thornbirds lasted, on the street. About how long is there life. Is the sounds really loud, because i kind of want a loud tire, just so people can reconize who it is.

Have you thought about the Boggers, those suckers are loud too.
And they are the king of mud. I have heard good and bad things about the thornbirds, but the Boggers are all good except for how loud they are, but thats what you want anyway.

just my 2 cents

Is it those outrageous sidewall lugs that make them do so good in mud?

I'm also interested in how these are gonna do, I have 33x12.50's on my '74 Bronco. That isn't quite operable yet, but they look great. Anyone else actually have them?

i would not recommend thornbirds in any terrain they have to dig down like 6 inches to start grabbing anything but they weren't to lound on the road

If you want really Loud, Rough rid-n, Fast wear-n Tyres, you can't go wrong with a set of Boggers! YeeeHaww!

The thornbirds actually aren't a good mud tire, they are good for deep ruts and that's about it, plus that sidewall look stupid.

If you want a good mud tire and a loud tire go with the bogger. But if you want a tire that will last you a little longer then go with a radial super swamper or a swamper ssr. They will be plenty loud also.

Put if you really wanna get loud, then buy some tractor tires - lol
