View Full Version : BIG O or NO? KEbert 05-08-2001, 09:18 PM Has anyone ever used Big-o's BigFoot XT or MT. Are they any good and do they last on the street? Yomie 05-09-2001, 08:40 AM My Room mate has the Big Foot X/T's. He has the 33X12.5 on a 15X10. He has had them for about a year now and are worn just about halfway, the only problem is that they wear more in the middle, no matter what he does. They are a very good tire off-road and on, but are VERY VERY loud on the highway. I was going to get these same tires, but now want 33X12.5 TSL Super Swampers or Thornbirds. But all in all, i think they are a good tire. Explorer Girl 05-11-2001, 11:01 AM I just had to say that obviously I read way too many women's magazines (Cosmo and the like) because tires are not at ALL what came to mind when I read the title of this thread . . . It had me wondering why this wasn't in the Exploring Everything Under the Sun forum, and really, why this was being discussed in the first place . . . mattadams 05-11-2001, 11:06 AM Originally posted by Explorer Girl I just had to say that obviously I read way too many women's magazines (Cosmo and the like) because tires are not at ALL what came to mind when I read the title of this thread . . . ROFL Yomie 05-11-2001, 11:07 AM ROFLMAO, You had me laughing when I read what you wrote! I think it's time for you to lay off the magazines for a while, LOL. Either that or go and....um........nevermind. I'll have to agree with Matt But anyhoo......yup we were talking about Big O brand BigFoot tires Explorer Girl 05-11-2001, 11:11 AM . . . or a recent one anyway. You know, I had really considered keeping that comment/thought process to myself, but then I realized that you guys would probably get a big kick out of it, and I wouldn't want to deprive y'all of that . . . However, tires really aren't my area of expertise, so if that's REALLY what this thread is about, I should probably leave this discussion up to the rest of you. mattadams 05-11-2001, 11:21 AM Originally posted by Explorer Girl . . . or a recent one anyway. I recommend changing the topic then, please, tell us all you know about it Explorer Girl... LOL j/k. Explorer Girl 05-11-2001, 11:29 AM Oh dear, I think I've created a monster here . . . But really guys, that's probably not really the most appropriate topic, and like I said before, it really doesn't belong under Tires and Wheels, now does it? (unless there's some terrible play on words happening there that I'm just not picking up on, and I usually snap to those sort of things) That's a rather, um, personal topic . . . but now, Matt, if you really need help understanding the topic, I suppose I could handle your questions through private messages . . . J/K! (Of course, it will be just my luck that someone will take that offer seriously) mattadams 05-11-2001, 11:32 AM LOL I was just kidding anyways :). We need a little humor on this board occasionally :). Explorer Girl 05-11-2001, 11:41 AM And I knew you were just kidding Matt. I was only kidding with you, I promise. And I most sincerely hope that I did not insult your prowress in any way, shape, or form . . :D And now that I've managed to throw this thread COMPLETELY off topic . . . I guess I should let y'all get back to talking about tires, huh? Yomie 05-11-2001, 01:15 PM Yeah i'll have to agree, i think we did throw it a lil off topic! But it was fun! Well thats enough from me about that before it gets a lil more too twisted for this board. j/k, lol KEbert if you didn't get enough of an answer to your Q, you can e-mail me or PM DeepBushDiver on the www.onandoffroad.com message board(thats my roomate, he has the X/T's) Dannyboy 05-11-2001, 01:51 PM I think Perry and Teri(Perry's Teri) run these tires on their purple monster Yomie 05-11-2001, 02:09 PM Your Right, they are running thoes tires, the X/T's that is |
