Well I seem to getting a lot of little lights and stuff for my truck lately and I'm afraid one might short out.

I want to create my own fuse box to be safe..

How would I go about doing that? Can I find remade boxes?

I know I have to run some type of wire from the battery to the inside but where do I go from there.

I plan on getting some neons and placing them on a switch and I want to be safe and have them on fuses.

Thanks guys..

Check checker or any auto parts store in the area. They make fuse pannels that work just fine. I think they run about 10 for 5 fuse links.

Quick, how many fuses are you looking for? In my Explorer and my F-150 I've been using 6-block fuse blocks from Checker, they come in a yellow plastic package. They've worked pretty well for me... The ones I use just have a "post" where you run power to "by way of a connector with a loop on it" then has 6 fuses to tap outwards. on my explorer I use one fuse block for the switches and one block for the actual power to the lights on the roof and in reverse. In my F-150 I just have one for the switches. If you want some pics of hte fuse blocks I've got, check out http://bart.is-s.com/~explorers/madams/PIAA/piaas.html
