Hey folks.
Anyone out there have any experience with the driver side bucket seat? I am....shall we say....a slightly larger fellow, and obviously, cough, cough, the stock seat has some design flaws.
Anyone know a good place to get Corbeau seats? Are they built solidly? The nearest dealer for me is 200 miles away, so I might as well have one shipped. The dealer wants almost $700 to build a new seat, and the salvage yard can't find any....at least in blue.
Any other options?
Help, my big ass needs a new home!

I'd be interested in this too. I'm a "rather large fellow" too. How big are you sundown?

the stock seat has some design flaws.
hahaha!!!!
I think that the problem is that the X is child size and we need adult size.
I'm a big guy too 6'6 around 350. I had to have my body guy weld the drivers seat in order to fix it. The bottom of it is made of thin sheet metle. Problem is it will break again.

Actually, my main problem is the hinge assembly....the internals seem to be stripped and also the part that bolts to the seat bottom has apparently bent....
No jokes, you all, there are already 3 big dudes in this post and if we can catch you, you'll be dead.... :)

I'm a skinny dude (6'3", 165 lbs and growing) and my seat broke too. I bent the sheet metal too.

"tubby" and loving it right guys? hehe, well maybe not.. I haven't had this sort of problem, however, I have found a design problem with the seat back lever.. as I get in and out.. my oversized rear gets in the way :P I broke the thing off a couple years ago.. my dealership replaced it for like $50

Man, this a big boy's page. Everyone needs a little lovin'.
Don't feel bad guys! I am 6"4' and weigh 200 lbs. and the stuffing is falling out of my seat. I know it is getting worse and worse.I think my ass-to-seat-to-gallon ratio is getting worse by the mile.
Anyone have a Grey drivers side seat for my 94????????Anyone...Anyone....Bueller....

Hey, I only weigh 180 lbs but even my Explorer drivers seat is a little stressed. The hinge squeaks a little sometimes, and I have had to have to cushion repacked once. On long trips my back starts to hurt because the seat is lower on the left side. My 28 yr old bad back. Too much snowboarding I guess..
