When you’re done steam cleaning it, I recommend you wipe all of the black parts (plastic) down with a rag and a light spray of 2 parts water to 1 part Armour-all, it does wonders! Regards, Peter ilikedellcomputers rickcar 06-02-2001, 11:58 AM I just did mine about two weeks ago with no problem. Well it wasn't an actual steam cleaning. I just took it to the car wash, sprayed the engine down with Castrol Super Clean (WAY better than Gunk engine cleaner), let it sit for a few minutes, and rinsed. It looked GREAT when I was done! errr I didn't cover anything, but it is definitely a good idea. :-) But it fired up with no problems at all. Rick |
