BajaXplorer 06-04-2001, 10:30 AM I have one for my Contour and plan to get one for the X. They are nice since you can print out what you need, get it dirty and throw away. I used to get the printed manuals and I always ruined them getting them dirty etc. I still will buy the Chilton manual but IMHO, the Haynes manuals SUCK. tbomb 06-04-2001, 12:00 PM for $10.00 i might try the cdrom, but just in case, where can you get a chiltons manual? BajaXplorer 06-04-2001, 12:05 PM The Chiltons are available at Kragen, Schucks, (not AUTOZONE) and Barnes and noble. You can also order via online at http://www.amazon.com jimbo74 06-04-2001, 12:06 PM you can get chiltons and haynes at pepboys....well at least up in norcal tbomb 06-04-2001, 01:05 PM around here pep boys only has the haynes. ill check out barnes and nobles though. thanks guys. PLRBEAR 06-04-2001, 01:15 PM Here's the problem with the Chiltons that i realized when i was flipping through it. They try to cover the 91-99 model years. It's tough trying to squeeze in two body & chassis styles in one book. I bought it because i have the Chiltons for my Nissan Maxima. The Maxima one is fine because they only cover the 89-94 model years.....same body style (with slight exterior diffs.) and same chassis. I think i will get the Helms manual in due time. |
