My favorites are the Wedgewood Blues (I think there are 2: medium and dark). I always loved those colors. But a close second is the dark metallic green (can't think of Ford's name for it) which is the color of my truck. :D

Its not listed so I am going to say Spruce green. Its a fairly new color offered.

After that would be some sort of metallic forest or moss green.

Orange... of course :D

Well, If I ever manage some body damage on my Torador Red truck, she'll get a nice coat of Ferrari red. :)

I love my truck's color: Medium Willow Green w/Light Sadle. My ex always said it's pretty.

i like the color of monkey boy's XLT.
but i dont think it would look nice on my 92. besides, my daytona is emerald green metallic, so i dont want two green cars in the driveway. i want to get a new paint job, but i'm undecided about the color.

Besides, I'm always driving, I rarely see the exterior of the car. Maybe the hood?. I worry more about the inside color. Thats what I have to put up with the most.

My favorite is yellow. I don't see any yellow ones around here in connecticut.

I have a 2 tone. White on top and sparkly metallic blue on the bottom...

i'm kinda stuck on white for some reason, My X is white, my accord was white, my dads F-250 4X4 is white(i picked the color) my sis's Ni$$an 4X4 is white, i dunno, must be a family thing

I'm not a big fan of red explorers. Red as in red not a deep red. I don't really have a favorite though.

I always liked the dark metallic green with the Eddie Bauer tan on the early Explorers. But i like mine too: it's dark metallic red.

HEY, dont hate on red explorers, mine looks tight in red, with the nice grey painted fender flares. look at Tom Wilks, same as mine, bright red, looks sweet too.

i'm with mad mike on this one "Brilliant Blue" w/ light graphite leather interior all the way:

when i picked up the sales booklet at the dealership and it was the centerfold, i fell in love and ordered it on the spot!!!
(i think those pages are still stuck together)

to this day i still get compliments, for me there's never been a more eye catching factory color(JMO)

I love the color of my dark metallic green with eddie bauer bottoms. I love the way the paint looks after I buff all the scratches out of it and put on a nice coat of wax. When I get my next X, (a 95-97) I want either black, red, or blue (although yellow sounds interesting, maybe if the new rig needs a paint job :D )

Ya can't beat my Golden X!!:D :D I also like Rick's orange X. It makes a statement and it is a BAM color.

My Bronco II is Burnt Orange/Reddish color and Tan

Mine, Dark Highland Green because highland Green is my favorite. It was only available on the Fairlane 500 from 67-69. But Steve McQueen made it popular in Bullitt.

How did you paint underneath your car? That's cool! My X is just like your except ALL you cool mods. Even your windsheild wipers:D . Where do you find those?

well man , it's called many, many hours with a paint stripper disc and a wire wheel /drill, and a butt load of 311 blue metal flake paint from advance auto, oh ya and about a case of primer too, oh ya and clear coat, but i dont recomend doing this if you like to drive on gravel roads, mine is all shot to sh@t!!!!! i'm in the process of painting all of my suspension parts black, but good luck if you try it.:D :D :D :D

Maybe I will do it later. I still have to get my lift, axles, tires, and on and on....:confused:

Dark Highland green........It's a pain in the a*s to keep clean.....but well worth the trouble

I'm partial to 2 colors that I don't have... the first is a red-orange that Ford used in 1998 and maybe 1999... The other is the true orange that was used on some 01 Sports and SportTracs

My favorite two are Fenderguy's grey and Madmike's blue

I have a white explorer and like it but you always have to keep it washed so, it stays clean but it is nice in the winter because you cant see the salt but it does get dirty real quick. It is much cooler than a black truck. I do like the grey color because it is a classy color and I always like grey. Just wish the limited Explorers come in grey. I think the newer ones might but the older ones didn't

Blue as blue gets.....Metallic blue, Ford blue, dark blue, just blue. Mine is Blue, couldnt imagine a Ford Bronco being any other color.....


Here's a pic, oh and Mike's Ex is blue on top and underneath, looks perfect. My truck came out perfect after the paint! Of course it is a $2000 MAACO paint job so I will be re-doing it next year (4 years is it with the MAACO, they suck! I paid for stuff I didnt get, it started rusting after 3 months in one spot, and it peels away from all the trim) When I re-paint it it wll be, yup you guessed it , Ford Blue.

I've always liked two tone explorers, especially with a little lift and aggressive tires.

On a Sport, black is the only way to go. On the 4dr., a nice dark metallic

Back in the day, Ford engines used to be blue. Hence the name, Ford Blue.

Blue..Bright Blue Metallic.... Ford Blue..... With Herculiner in Black because the gray is too expensive...... My neighbor says I have a black and blue truck.

My 91 is factory graphite grey, but if she ever needs paint, im going with either a metallic forest green, kinda like the first gen X's or a midnight blue I saw on a 97 X the other day in a dealer lot. I just sat there and stared....beautiful truck....

Black, dark blue or dark green. I prefer dark colors. Even a dark purple would be cool.

I prefer RUST RED POWDER COAT ! Seems my white X acquires this every time I go to Moab . :D :p

My explorer is this blue gray color. Its the only one Ive seen that color. Its pretty sweet

Black is my favorite. But it makes me think of the '91 X I had that got totaled 3 days after I got it registered. It had black pearl paint. Looked purple when the light hit it. It was cherry. Still bums me out sometimes. :(

I voted for the Metallic colors, but I truly loved the Yellow. I had a 2002 Chrome Yellow Ranger EDGE. I just traded my 2001 Chrome Yellow Escape XLT for my 2004 Eddie Bauer Explorer. This one is Red Fire. I like it anyway!!! :D

The green on the first gens is the best color i think. I never wanted a green vehicle and now i have one i love it. It's been garaged most of its life so it hasnt faded any. I have seen 3rd gens with worse paint than mine.

I like my color of green, but sometimes I wish it was different

mine is tan/gold color, not a metallic color, and many explorers out there are that color, I hate the first gen sports with the red stripe ans blue body

Red, this way I don't have to mess with clear tail lights or go through the trouble of clearing the brake light myself. It all just blends nicely.
