We recently replaced out 1 drive 1 printer Cdr replication system with a new 4 drive stand alone system. Every once in a while (normally after producing 100 Cds) we would have a fault condition.. Either 2 Cds in a drive.. a drive with no CD or other similar symptoms..

Since I work in a Test lab I have all kinds of computer equipment to try to figure this out.. but I thought the simple solution worked out..

I grabbed the $100 webcam.. and set it up to only capture when it saw movement.. When I came in the next morning.. there was a fault condition.. the system had been running about 8 hours when if failed but since it only captured movement I was able to find the first problem it had in about 20 minutes of watching the video..

Here is the Video I sent to the company and now we think we have the problem fixed..

BTW.. this is a Real video file..

I didn't notice.. but someone turned off that server.. (the one holding the file)..

That stupid robot is really getting on my nerves.. This morning there were 50 cd's burned but not printed.. at least These are burned ok.. I can always print them later..

Yes I can make your vcr stop flashing 12:00.. I'll loan you some black tape to cover it up.. (thats what I do at home.. I keep moving the VCR and it forgets the time when I do that).

I guess the new version of our software broke my IIS server.. I'll move the files to my server today..

Thats what I get for putting it on a test server at work..
