I have tried everything! People up here just look at Explorers as family cars. They all think I'm just stupid or I'm wasting my money. One track minds around here.
I've thought about moving to CO but never put any effort in to it. Arizona wouldn't be that bad for me. I love hot weather! Theres probably not many people around that wheel as much as I do. I can't go through a day without hittin the trails. Thats probably the reason I break stuff all the time.
Keep the ideas comin guys!

Look at the bright side. You probably have the baddest Explorer in the entire state of Idaho! It looks so tough it probably scares most of the townfolk.
Maybe if you took it to the carwash once in awhile. (seems every pic I've seen of your rig, it's more mud than paint) ;)
Also,(learned this one with my in-laws), don't tell them you're going 4wheeling, tell them your going "sightseeing"...
BTW- Colorado is the place to be.

I'd go wheeling in Utah, You have moab, sand dunes, canyons, etc. But I wouldn't live in Utah.

Who cares if no one else you wheel with has Explorers! It might make it more fun to have a varity of vehicles along instead of the same ole same ole. :)

Ryan- The club that I'm in has tons of different 4x4s. Toyotas, Jeeps, Scouts, and Chevys. I would rather wheel with fellow explorers any day then all of those. They put me positions that a little jeep should be in not a 4 door explorer. It also helps to not be a show off like I am. Thats why I do stupid stuff and break my truck.
Hey Clint where is a good place to look on line to get some info on moving to Arizona? Any one with great places to look let me know.

Colorado is great, but I wouldn't choose to live in Denver if I had a option right now. It's too freaking expensive to live here. My one bedroom apt. is 945 sq. feet and it's $861 a month. If you want a house try an average of $250,000-$260,000. Also just for comparison, when my mom and her husband went to Fargo for a wrestling match for a friend of theirs you could get 20 acres and a 4 bdrm, 3 bath house, with a big detached garage/shop for $120,000.
