Well, I regret to inform you all, the Navajo has been rolled a 4th time. It was rolled at Los Coyotes; I'd like to thank everyone I told that didn't tell anyone else. Your support has been greatly appreciated.
I'd really, really thank Matt (RockRanger) for being soo damn cool when the whole thing happened. Without his help, the recovery would have been even more painful.
This time it was onto the roof, crushing the roof rack, moving the hood, cracking the front grill, breaking the rear passenger quarter glass, popping the windshield out. Pictures of the truck are at http://navajo4x4.rockcrawler.com/rollover None of the PIAA's on the roof broke in this incident.
I've reported this to the insurance company (truck had full coverage on it), and they are totalling the truck out. I'm buying it back, for salvage value.
BUT, this is the part that is really hard to do.
I'm selling out.
I'll be posting in the for-sale thread the truck, and a few other places.
The damage combined with the fact I have no place to fix this, along with the chance of buying a house in one of the toughest housing markets in the US, means I'm giving up on Explorers/Navajos.
I hope someday to see you all on the trail again someday!
