A guy I know bought some tails for a 98+ and is gonna try to cut them to fit his 95. He is gonna cut part of the clear part off where they would meet the rear hatch. You know how this part is rounded where the 95-97 are straight.

Is this possible?

Are all of the dimensions the same on the newer ones except for the part that meets the hatch?

I thought since they are domed more that they would stick further out the back.

Do you have any clue what I am talking about?

Does anyone have a picture of a stock 95 and a stock 98 from the same angle for comparison?

Sorry about all of the questions.

anything's possible.

but dont cut the altezzas, you have to cut the body. and make sure you have plenty of bondo.
then just paint to match and there you go. but altezzas are already getting way played out. so if he does this, he's stuck with them.

thanks for the concern. I actually work in brooklyn as well, but I used to work in 2 WTC. I saw the 2nd plane hit from my jobs parking garage (across the east river but onky about 20 miles away), it felt like I was watching a movie. My mind still is having trouble comprehending what happend. I never imagined I would see something like this in my lifetime. UNBELIEVABLE. I had a few friends who worked there and got out ALIVE thank God. But I still am hurt by this tragic event.

My car was covered with ash from the fires and papers from the WTC buildings floated into our garage for about 30 min.

I dunno where I got the Sealant exactly... it was lying around in my house. But I know you can go pick up water-proof sealant stuff at Lowe's or Home Depot. It is Transparent, takes a couple hours to dry. The stuff is pretty cheap too. Like 5 bux i think. Hope that helpz. Later

just get a tube of clear RTV silicone. that's what it's meant for (sealing around windows, glass, plastic, etc... to keep out water). i had a fiero with a leaking sunroof, then i used the silicone and it stopped leaking.

Yeah dude thats basically the junk i used. Just use some silicone type product.... It'll seal em up just right... OH yeah if u have watr in them.. first get a hair dryer and vacuum and use the two of those 2 get most of the water out. Thats what i did first sothe water wasnt trapped in there.
