The last time I decided to see how well the new Auburn worked (went in 2-wheel drive). It worked well until I decided NOT to put it in 4 and just bury the rearend - obvious mistake. Cleanup wasn't all that bad - road around for a week with only the driver's seat - no carpet or nothin! I did ruin the stock carpet pad - nothin $5 at Home Depot couldn't fix. Now I need to raise my computer, scanner and CD player - 1" more they all would've fried! Maybe I should change my name from McLeod to McHale. I was riding with Jon that day, did not go swimming with him on this part of the run although my cell phone did..) Anyway he had his kids with him and all day long they were yelling "Daddy get us stuck". Well he went and did it and boy did their tune change when the kids looked down from their car seats and saw the water rising. No worries, kids were safe and had a blast.. I tried to teach them to go back to their mom and say that the water got up to their necks...
