FMExplorer has a problem and can't get to a computer.

(I'll describe it as best I can) Tramp suffers for a bit of salt corrosion.

The sending/pump unit rotted through at one of the hose fittings. Jon replaced the unit but the replacement required you bend the clips back. Slightly diff. than the factory one he says. He has the new unit in and it does not leak under power but he is leaking from the sending unit seal when sloshing around.

Looking for quick options so he can make the run on Sat with the new tires and lift.

Was thinking:

JB Weld or pack the sending unit with gas tank patch.

Post any ideas or experinces here and I'll call Jon who is frantically running to all the auto parts stores.
