How do you disarm a seat belt chime on a 2001 explorer sport?

Why would you want to?? You're nuts if you don't wear it :)

There's a section the owners manual on how to do it. It's pretty tedious to do, but it can be done.

That is very easy, put it on and the sound goes away.
It's just a good habit to get into. Wear your belt.

Well I always wear my belt. I don't drive anywhere without it. I disabled mine though because it drives me nuts! That and when the door is open chime too. I just found the box up under the dash and un-pluged it. All the chimes went away, including the one for the lights being on. Oh well it was well worth it. :D

Yeah theres one for the seatbelt chime and also one for the autolock feature to turn off.
