I live in NY an I want to put on clear corners. Anyone know if they are legal?

Call the State Troopers office and ask

you use amber bulbs. I think the problem is with the people that put in super white turn signal bulbs. If you use amber, they should be fine.

I have them, i left the same bulbs in it and i havent been bothered. I pass by cops all the tme.. they dont say anything.

They are not legal unless you put amber bulbs in them.

They are not DOT legal.. here is why...they dont have the proper reflectors in them..... I did not say colored reflectors..... the problem is with superwhite or amber bulbs the bulbs glow full force not muffled by the lense meaning they are too bright..... but if you have them, white or yellow is legal for fronts in CA i think DOT says it is legal too.... but, some cops are just jerks.....

I got the clear corners on a while ago. I put clear bulbs in the corners and left the blinker bulbs orange. It was like that for about a week and I couldnt stand it anymore. During the day it looked like crap because the orange bulbs were reflecting. I painted the bulbs silver and it worked great. Now, they are clear during the day and they still light up orange at night.

They are legal in Cali...as long as you have amber bulbs in them.

I Have Clear corners, turn signal, and tail lights
On my truck I use amber in the front turn signals
and red bulbs for the rear tail lights.

Cops will not bother you if you have then this way I know I found out the hard way.

here in PA the clear corners are legal, but the clear tails are not

i'm in CA and I have clear (xenon blue) bulbs as my blinker lights. I've never been pulled over. haha.. I love CA, seems everything goes here.

technically they are not.... they are NOT DOT approved and were not original equipment...... but these are the laws that they barely enforce (most dont know about them) if you have amber bulbs then as a bylaw they are close enough and you probably wont get hassled... also, if a ricer has clears and a truck has clears normally they nail the ricer.... CA cops are more biased to ricers than to trucks....
