Thanks to the info on this board I solved my Irratic Cold Idle Problem.
The idle would fluctuate after cold starts but would idle normally when warm. After an IAC and Intake O Rings ($350 total) failed to solve the problem the dealer finally agreed to check the cam tensioners and voila a perfect idle. Do you think I should be reimbursed for my expenses?

Yes, I think you should be reimbursed. BUT I aint the dealer. He'll probably tell you they cant put the old parts back in. I would ask him to go 50-50 on the labor. You might have a shot at that.

I think you should have never been charged for the parts that didn't fix your idle problem if it didn't fix the problem. Unfortunately, your dealer would probably tell you that you needed the parts anyway. The intake manifold o-rings should have been covered under the warranty anyways that was extended through ONP 00M12 unless you are over 72K miles. Since it appears that they replaced the tensioners under warranty, it looks like you might be under the limit. Per the dealer bulletin for 00M12, when they replace the intake manifold o-rings, they are also supposed to replace the tensioners at the same time, both under warranty.
That is one of the things I can't stand about dealerships. They throw the first thing they think of into it to try and fix it and call it done. When you find out the problem is still there (often times the next day or several days later), they start from scratch and forget all about charging you the first time. Preferrably, they would keep the vehicle until they were certain that they fixed the problem. Once they were certain that they fixed the problem, they could charge you for whatever fixed the problem and nothing more. I had the dealership try to charge me about $75 for a complete radiator flush to fix an over-heating problem when the real problem was a bad thermostat. After argueing with them, they agreed to take the charge off.
