Sometimes, when talking with other people in terms of a people-mover, it's a car, otherwise it's a TRUCK.

For lack of a word to describe her besides 'Rig' I call her a Truck :)

I call it a truck, but my wife has several names for it. The Green Mistress, That Bitch in the driveway, and HER are just a few that come to mind. Don't get me wrong, she is more than supportive of my hobbie but she likes to hold it over my head when ever she can. Gotta love her, the wife I mean.:D

i like to call mine Mean Green when she is on the road...she may seem a lil timid offroad but she gets me everywhere i need to be and back with out a problem usually(knock on wood) however mosta my friends refer to her simply as 2WD

Not to sure bout gettin u where u need to be, u needed to get through the pit and back but she didnt do that now did she. She didnt even get the rear tires in. As for the 2WD, yep, thats what we call it. When were offroading we just say 2WD and everyone knows who were talkin about.:D
As for the name, i call my 4Runner Silver Bullet, as its silver and i dont know bout the bullet part it kinda just came together. Jeeper15 help me think of it.

mine is maxine...from a derivite of "Madd Maxx" the movie...there vehicles were road warriors and look kinda like how mine looks currently.....

My Explorer's named "The Turtle" cuz it's green and likes going slow (but sure) over a lot of stuff (including nerf bar-eating rocks!).

But when she starts to falter on an obstacle I HAVE been known to call it "Bitch". Ryan1 can back me up on this one! :)

Also she is based on the truck platform.

Otherwise I affectionately call here Trinity. The wife I'm sure has some others.

Right now, it's the War Wagon. After I finish the build, the name must change to "woopah!". Then the issue crops up that my dad and I may build a bush car, and the X may stay stock. In which case, it will be the War Wagon forever.

I now call my X "RUNNING" since it has a new SOHC engine

I hope to call my X in the future"STILL RUNNING" in the hope that Ford's design upgrades agruably are incorporated in my rebuilt and stand up to the test of time.

If not, and something goes wrong, I will revert to calling my X "garbage" again and hope it is within the warrantty period and I don't have to pay any more money to fix it, so I can again call it "RUNNING ONCE MORE"

The truck or the Snow Leopard since my wife and I bought it in the winter and took it off road in the snow the first chance and the truck is white with black trim soo.... It really does do a great job on or off road in the snow.

I've called her "Xplodor" since she went through a tranny, transfer case, and transfer case shift motor all within the first 5 months when I bought her new. 5 more days and I could have claimed Lemon Law since it needs to be in the shop for at least 30 days within a year's time. Definitely a truck... I've hauled most of what Lowe's has to offer, kayaks, and it's been places that only a truck/SUV would dare go. Besides, they're just too brawny to be called much else.

All in all the truck RAISED itself another 1.5-2 inches from the weight removal

I've never liked the term "SUV" so I'll never use it.

It's either my Explorer, or otherwise when I'm referring to it in a generic sense I call it an "auto" or "automobile". I commonly associate "truck" with "pick-up truck" and that's why I don't call it a truck.

I call it truck; most of the time. Then there are times I call it a car. Before I bought my first SUV, here is what I was told by several people that have an SUV of one make or another. It does not have a box, so it is a car. At least in Colorado, you can not regester it as a truck. It takes normal plates.
