hey guys, my mom has a 2000 Hundai Tiburon.
she wants me to fix it up alittle, she trusts me to not rice it up, just to make it full sport. ive got a few things planned.
i'll probabally just do a system (not for loudness, but just for better imaging and better crispness), shift kit, superchip (that may never happen), HID headlights.
i'll probabally upgrade the brake rotors and pads, they shudder when slowing quickly from anything above 20 MPH, what do you think? rotors? pads? what?
If the brakes suck (which I can understand on a Hyndai), do something about them. Your idea for light stereo mods is good. But do you need to spend $500+ on headlights? Seems to me you could spend the money better. How about filter and catback? You don't have to get a lawnmower sounding catback setup just because it's an econobox. A chip/filter/catback will cost you as much as the lights and will be a lot more useful, especially on a 4banger.

How about lowering springs? I don't know if they are even available for Hyundai's...but just an idea

Lowering springs are available for this car as well as a turbo upgrade, but who's mom wants to ride around in a lowered car, not cause its lowered, but it is gonna stiffen the ride so much, that she prolly won't like it, i would do what alec said. and if the breaks are shuddering, the rotors are prolly warped and you need new ones, your best ben on this would be to get cross drilled rotors and upgrade the pads in the front, then get some form of intake and a quiet nice looking exaust (noting huge, just normal size (around 2.25/2.5") that is stainless) then maybe a chip for the shifting and engine performance, after this most likely she will be satisfied with the results. once iagain i would not recommed lowering it if your mom will be driving it everyday

I wouldn't get a chip since it has a N/A engine. It probably won't be worth the money.

im going to make the HID kit.
i found a BMW with HID at a junkyard. im gonna gank the unit and put it in her car.
i wont lower it, because its a daily driver.
turbo kits cose a bunch.
i have no idea what im going to do to it. i'll have to think of it later.

i thought they had those projector beam headlights. is the difference between that and HID going to be worth the cost?
