I recently had a complete clutch job done on the X and I'm wondering if I got ripped or not.

When I say complete I mean: Cutch/pressure plate, slave cylinder, master cylinder, and re-surfaced fly wheel. Also a new front U-joint. I paid a total of $930 for parts and labor.

That seams about right for all the work that was done. The clutch alone cost $200.00 . So it does sound about right. I am glad I can do a clutch job myself.

I just had mine done about 1500 miles ago. I got a new clutch/pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave and master cyl, flywheel resurfaced and the rear main oil seal replaced. My total was just over $600 for parts & labor.

In the axle or driveline? "Front" wasnt too clear. I would hope it was in the axle for $300 more.

Ummmmmm.......you guys are starting to make me feel like I got a little ripped!! When I said front U-joint I ment driveline U-joint. I would've done that myself but they got to it before I did.

The only good thing I see out of all of it is it has a 2 year or 24,000 mile warranty.

at least it came with that warranty.
but that 24,000 miles would only last me about 7 or 8 months.

My buddy had his 98 X clutch replaced at a shop where I know the owners, plus or minus $900 complete.
