I have a surge at highway speeds around 2000 rpm. It happened today for a few minutes and I think it may be the tranny. There is no change in engine rpm's, just speed. It slows down, then speeds up, and so on. What do you think?

there's a thread around here somewhere about cleaning the sensor unit on the mas unit, something about the patina build-up over time on the sensor filaments causing surges at hwy speeds, you might try to do a search and see if you can find it

Oh ok that makes sense. The old MAF fix huh? I just re-oiled my air filter so that's probably it.
