ok guys so i went to a local car shop the other day..just to look around.....and i got to talkin to the guy there who owns it...and i mentioned that i needed a 750 watt rms 2ohm mono amp...to run 1 audiobhan 12.....he got all shitty with me bad mouthing audiobahn just because they don't sell them there...and i showed him where i got it off the web at...which is www.thezeb.com...and he tried tellin me they were refurb subs that thezeb sells....so he tried to be a big shot and call them up and ask....well just so happens that the audiobahns thezeb sells are brand new because they are authorized dealers..check audiobahninc.com to see for yourself...
so that guy got served a big glass of shut up...but guess what it must have made him mad that he was wrong..cuz he went on to say...ah that sub won't hold 750watts rms anyways...they aren't that good....why do you like them so much? so now hes insulting my preference....what a dick....and he goes..we got lots of amps..what do you want to spend...and being my limit i told him i got around 225-275.....and he starts to laugh..saying i'm not going to get anything good for that much..

pretty much hes and ass and lost all my business..

It's ok. With an attitude like he has his shop wont be open much longer anyway. If you can gather up other reports of bad service from his shop you should report him to the Better Business Bureau.

yea but just because he doesn't deal audiobahn doesn't mean hes got the right to bad mouth them...that just makes it so he can't bad mouth them..cuz he doesn't know sh*t bout them i bet..

everyone around he loves that place...only because when you go there...they will feed you whatever you want to hear usually....i hate it cuz all their stuff is way over priced.

hmmmmmm sounds exactly like a place around here. our hs is sponsored by them and everybody thinks its cool to buy from them. i went in to see how much there shit was and it was outrageous overpriced. ive learned that those kind of dealers dont like doing buisness with people like us that want to save money and buy better shit than they sell off internet. they are cocks so simple solution dont give them any damn buisness. LOL you should of been rolling on the floor when he got dissed on the phone i wish i could of seen that!!!!

i know what you are saying about local shops gettin upity, i went about a month ago and had my exhaust installed, and the store manager gave me a hard time about it when i picked it up, saying "you know i could have saved you money on that system, thanks for doing business w/ us", (but when i started the hunt for an exhaust he didn't want to help me with different choices). so i told him "i paid $175 for my system, what could you have done", he sat down played on the computer, then the calculator, and proudly said "i could have given it to you for $150", i thanked him and pulled out my bill from summit showing $104 delivered to my door. (priceless)

as for audio - people(customers and stores) can get real strange about their brands(i'm not defending - just stating a fact), even here on this board their are people that have responded that "thats crap - you should have gotten this one - blahblahblah!!!"

My local audio shops are like that...owned by just a bunch of d*cks that don't know anything about car audio. One of them insisted Blaupunkt coxials sound better than MB Quart components that I brought in for install.

i never buy from any shop that badmouths any other product. they can tell me what they think is a good product, but i dont care what they think is bad. i didnt come in to find out what sucks:rolleyes: .
i like to pretend that i dont know a thing about audio when i go in. this gives me a chance to see how full of **** they are. there are a lot of good shops that are willing to help, just watch out for the bad ones that want to rip you off.
