I tried to replace the vacuum modulator this weekend, but could not get the heat shield removed. The shop manual says it unclips and slides fowards, but shows a nut holding the top of it to the tranny. How the heck do you get this nut off? I can't seem to get my hand up there. I tried everything short of cutting it out with a sawsall. Thanks in advance.
