View Full Version : Help! Torsion Bolt Size? WAR shackles, where? maxxus 03-12-2002, 04:49 PM I would appreciate if anyone knows what size bolt the torsion bars use on a 96 explorer, as one is much shorter, so i cannot do a TT lift. Also, where can I get these Warrior Shackles (Part#?) Thanks for any help. Just wondering who else on this forumn has done this lift, and if they're happy with it.....did the shackles cause the rear-end to sway more? Thanks! War153 is the Part Number, You can get them from DesertRat.com Sory I do not know the bolt size But i do beleive it is on the Forum somewhere, Try doing a search for it! Mark Drysdale 03-13-2002, 05:54 AM The TT Bolts are M12x1.25x75mm, however the Ford bolts come with a reduced size head (13mm) and a standard M12 is either 17 or 19mm. |
