I like my Explorer. I really do. But, what I'd give for a 2001 XLT with the Sport Package. I mean, I'm not saying I'm not happy with my current Explorer. Well, in a way, I am. The OHV for a SOHC would be nice, not to mention the moonroof and 16's that I'd like on the Sport. Plus, a nice 4.10LS rear... Nice black or wedgewood blue with a grey leather interior... Ahhh.

Seriously folks, this is a problem of mine. I have a nice Explorer, yet I still want a 2001 XLT Sport (not to mention the 2002 Supercrew Lariat I want... but thats another story).

No, I don't want a 2002 Explorer. I don't like them. I think they're just not what a 2001 is, but that's me. But seriously... pop a 4" suspension lift on... and a 2 or 3" body lift... Some 33's or 35's... and still have the leather interior... nice Sport Trim... Argh...

It's 1:40AM and I've been thinking about this Explorer for a while now. I hope when mine dies there's a nice low mileage 2001 on a lot somewhere. Actually, there will be. I know one has my name on it...

I can relate..ever since i bought mine I have wanted a 98 Eddie Bauer AWD. I have always wanted an eddie bauer AWD, but could not afford it when I bought my truck. I am getting eddie bauer fender flares installed on my truck next month so then it should look more unique like i was looking for.:bounce:

i know exactly how you feel, adam. i had a 91 sport for 3-4 years and it was awesome, but i always wanted a 98 sport with a sohc, leather, etc (the only thing i wanted more than the explorer was a 98 cobra ;) luckily in october of 98 when the 91 took a dump, my parents were feeling very generous, and worked out a great deal with a cousin of ours who we buy all our fords from and i got exactly what i wanted (well, i got the explorer actually, but im not complaing one bit :) now that im a lil older, im really glad they wouldnt let me get the cobra.)
