Ok Is there some kind of procedure for changing the battery not to mess up the computer on my 98?? I had the battery changed and different lights are coming on like check gauge, check engine, and the battery light. It happened when I cranked the wheels while stopped. It was weird and I want to know if it messed up the computer and needs to be reset or something. Thank you

try disconnecting the battery again and leave it off for awhile then put it back on and see if the same thing happens (also make sure you have the right battery in there and if it needs water that its in there)
