But Bushwacker doesn't show a listing for Extend a fender for first generation X's. Bronco II perhaps? How'd you do it? Tell me more! 94EBexplorer 04-15-2002, 12:24 AM bushwacker makes the flares...youll maybe have to call your local off raod shop.... the flares and for the 4 door explorer... they are not hard to put on... and i frogot to say yes... they are paintable. you will have to trim a little bit to get them to fit tight against the molding... i used a dremel tool... it made a nice trim and it was easy to control... theres a few ways to mount them to the doors.... you can epoxy them... the kit comes with rivits to use in the fender wells..... they are known to come out so i went and bought black self tapping sheet metal screws... they look and work great.... for my rear doors where the fenders attached i coated to back of the flare which is mount to the door with rtv sealant... and then screwed it into the door ( for the fact i know im not taking them off ) they make it look like it got a killer stance and all and all it took about hour and a half with some help to do.... but well worth it... |
