Hello all,

Its been a while. I'm having a new problem with my 95 XLT, seems I'm loosing my power. I've had the oil changed, the tranny fluid flushed, the injectors and fuel system cleaned and lately it feels like the power is gone. If i gun it, it'll go, but i never had to gun it before. I just hit 100,000 miles and there has never been any major work done. The tranny doesn't feel like its slipping. I've read a lot of threads about different sensors that can cause this. Where should I begin and test them, I don't want to replace sensors that are working ok. I'm looking at the Fuel Pressure Rgulator, Throttle Position Sensor, EGR valve. Also the engine sounds like shit and the gas mileage has taken a nose dive. I'm not getting the check engine light. HELP Also the truck runs very very cool, can my t-stat be causing havoc????

How cool is very cool? If it's cool enough, the engine will run in open loop and run like crap and get bad mileage.

Might be the O2 sensors too. When they go bad, they can cause bad mileage and rough running. Unfortunately, they are not cheap and you need 2 of them on a 95.
