Hi,
Where can I get parts catalogs/magazines for the Explorers. I want to make some modifications to my 98 Explorer Sport but I don't know where to start. I want to look for these catalogs and get a better idea what my explorer can or cannot have.

Thanks.

I have a 98 sport also. Is yours 2 or 4x4? What kind of mods? Do you want to lift/lower it? I am in almost the same position as you. I didn't know what mods were possible until I ran into this site. My first mod was making the foglamps come on with the parking lights. From what I have seen here It looks like the most common mods are: Warrior shackles and torsion twist(will lift you about 2"),
New shocks (bilstein, rancho, and edelbrock seem to be the most popular), custom cat-back exhaust(more power, a little louder). The list of mods is endless. Beware of "the bug". Once you start making mods to your Ex. you won't be able to stop. They tried to warn me, but it didn't work. I just ordered some rancho 9000 adjustable shocks, and have about 25 other things on my wish list. Here are some websites: www.performanceaccessories.com (I think all they have is the 3" body lift).
www.performanceproducts.com
www.summitracing.com
www.quadratec.com (they have the #153 warrior shackles) You might do a search for a list of websites. I think someone posted them on here. Good luck!

Order a free Performance Products catalog that is "just for Fords" on their website. There is quite a bit of stuff for Explorers in it. Also, check out the Explorer Express catalog.
