I don't know how many of you have seen these little cars. They would be easy to overlook.
They are made by Tyco and I bought a couple of them from FAO Schwartz for $25.00 each. They are a lot of fun. I got a truck to handle the carpet at home and a car to drive around at work. Plus they run on different frequencies so you can drive both at the same time.
They are pretty small....I'd say around 1/32 scale.

Here's a picture of the two next to my car keys....

Here's Tyco's web page for more info....

Tyco.com (http://www.tycorc.com/)

The transmitter and the cars both run on 2 AA's.

I know I'm a dork and the fact that I took pictures jumping the Durango on the carpet seem only further proves that. :D But's it's pretty difficult to snap a picture of a car jumping that's the size of a pack of cigs.

they are 1/24th scale.

you can make them cruise at about 13 mph if you replace the stock motor with one from a koyosho Mini-Z, its a direct swap, not hard. i tossed one in my old beetle, but that thing has bitten it. i need to find some, i want the Ferrari 360 modena.

That's pretty cool you can swap in a Koyosho motor into these. But I can't image wedging that little Honda S2000 under the stove going 13mph. :D
