I'd vote for painting the black bumper trim green and leaving the chrome. But if it's one or the other...leave the chrome.

I like the all green look.

I have a 93 with the two tone green and I don't like the lighter green, I think the all darker green looks better

I'd paint the inner part of the grille semi-gloss black, and leave everything else alone.

The chrome looks nice. The black trim matches the bug guard, window visors, and the dark tint of the windows. That all looks nice.

The dull silver color of the inner grille matches nothing though. Semi gloss black would make it match nicely though. (I did the same to my '97 and think it looks a lot better.)

I'de paint the bug shield green ... If that sways anyones opinion

OR, you could always get a Limited front clip, which is painted that green already.

Man I hate being color blind, I guess that's why I own a black and white X. I honestly can't see the difference, what I'm supposed to be looking at? Oh yeah, Chucky D, I have yet to see your X on campus but I'm always keeping an eye out.

I havent seen your X either, where do you park again?

The pictures are of my truck color keyed green or with the shiney chrome look (how it is now)
Number 1 is color keyed
number 2 is the original

If they can make it match the paint, I would go for the monochromatic look. I like that more than chrome.

I like the look of a little bit of chrome better. When I build my custom bumpers I may have them chromed or I may get them silver mettalic power coated. But then again, my truck is black.

You know, if you could do it, I think a full Limited treatment (grille, headlight surrounds, side moulding, bumpers, air dam) would look really good on your truck.

most def. the chrome, if you paint it green it just looks like it all blends into one solid figure and no definition, but either way ur x still looks nice...

Unless its black, don't go painting chrome. All black vehs with black painted chrome just look sexy+stealthy, but otherwise, chrome looks good with colors.

I do not drive the x but it is still around. I bought an extra front grille to attempt to paint the PLASTIC grille. Needless to say, I never got around to it as I got a new truck.

My brother has the truck but it is under my name.
