ahhjaws 05-07-2002, 01:10 AM Will you get a nice offroad package for it? Little lifts and Super Swampers, then you can go mudding and rock crawling.;)
Have fun
unabonked 05-07-2002, 10:53 AM Its my little toy for when my big toy can't go to school ;)
I'm prolly going to rip everything outa it. Maybe convert to gas powered. I'll just drive it into my roomate everytime he annoys me with his drunken antics :D I should be here any day now. I'll post pics when its repainted.

TwoToneX 05-19-2002, 05:36 PM Looks like an Excursion to me  :p
Digger196 05-20-2002, 04:23 PM oh sorry my bad. it's a Excursion RC gass powered car.
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 04:25 PM actually it is a traxxas t-maxx with an excursion body
Digger196 05-20-2002, 04:29 PM oh i'm shutting up on what it is!!!!! wrong 2 times so far. ya get that it is a gas powered R/C car none the less.
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 04:34 PM i didnt mean it as an insult..... you were right that is was an excusrion... well at least the body was..... ford doesnt make r/c trucks ;)

Oh, I thought the escape was the RC version of the explorer?
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 04:53 PM no, the escape is the lifted ford focus with bigger tires and an extra set of cv shafts....
The focus makes a nice rally car though!
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 04:57 PM i think we are off topic...but..who cares.... the focus isnt as cool as a rally car as the subaru wrx that came into work the other day.... my boss popped a wheely in it and the front tire that was off the ground was spinning too... it was cool to watch... kinda like the way my t-maxx does... but in a real car   ;)
I agree the WRX is a cooler looking rally car.
Did you get to ride in it? I want to drive one, i think it would be a blast doin over 100 (or whatever they do) on a dirt road!
For now I will just have to stick with GT3 on my PS2
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 05:23 PM nope didnt get to ride in it :(
but just watching the wheely with the tire spinning in the air was way cool!!!
I think I need to get an RC truck to run around at home when I can't beat on the X!
Digger196 05-20-2002, 05:56 PM Same here. I'm trying to decide what type and company right now. any preferancs for which brand are the best for under 400 gas R/C car? i'm think a Traxx that is already built and take the top off and put a X body on it or make my own body or just repaint the existing one already on there.
Explorer4u2c 05-20-2002, 05:57 PM go with traxxx.
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 06:04 PM traxxas is a brand... not a vehicle.... for gas i would get a t-maxx or a pirate monster blazer... or for speed an 1/8 scale buggy
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:07 PM i'm looking into a pretty fast car that i can run on dirt and such at Hobby park (they have a track there) and also on the road to full around.
what model traxx is good for that?
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 06:08 PM see my above post
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:16 PM i'm saying the body look and the type liek have X's, F-150. what does Traxx have that are good?
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 06:19 PM r/c vehicles can have any body mounted on them.... the part with them are what car/truck to buy.... then what body you want on it.... bolink and parma are the major body makers and have everything from a subaru wrx to a hummer militia
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:24 PM boy am i lost on my own question
lol
i know very little on r/c cars so i'm going to buy a already built one.
can ya siplify what the heck ya said above b/c i cought none of that!!!!!
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 06:26 PM the traxxas t-maxx www.t-maxx.com a good all around off roader
the blazer monster pirate huge and ok on the speed
any 1/8 scale buggy they arent trucks but are fast and nimble and 4x4
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:33 PM good site!!!
i like the sound of a buggy!!!
any site for that one? i like speed and oof road.
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 06:36 PM do a search for 1/8 scale buggy..... they are more for racers though than a backyard basher... look on yahoo or something this sport is huge
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:40 PM ok
thanks
Digger196 05-20-2002, 06:47 PM change of mind, after seeing those videos i'm going to get a big R/C car!!!!!! there awesome
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 07:01 PM digger, what are you going to get?
Digger196 05-20-2002, 07:12 PM a big ass off road truck!!!!!!!
Digger196 05-20-2002, 07:13 PM something big w/ big wheels and good enought power to jump it pretty far and just have alot of fun w/

Robb
jimbo74 05-20-2002, 07:25 PM there is nothing wrong with the usa nitro... but imho it is old and outdated.....
but imho it is old and outdated
So are our Xs, but we still love them! hehe
Yea, it's a bit ol' school but I love them.
Robb
What about the RC 10 Truck? Is it still good?
It has been so long since i had one... I don't know what is good anymore. Definetely gas so I don't have to charge after 10 minutes of playing. Something in a box, cause building it is half the fun, and definetely an X body painted like mine!
RoadEnforcer 05-20-2002, 09:38 PM the rc truck looks good man, post a pic when its red
