This isn't one of those I've got a problem dealies, I just wanted to let y'all know of a possible solution for a starting problem. It all started with the prior owner.
These are the symptoms:
-occasionally won't start.
-when it starts, runs perfect.
-no fuel pump noise when the problem occurs.
-relay checks good.
-voltage good.
I bought a spare fuel pump relay at the dealer ($5) and kept it on hand. When it happened again, I immediately replaced it. My Explorer started up just fine.
