I've noticed an annoying squealing sound in my 93 X that goes away when I go above 35 MPH OR if I touch the brakes, has anyone else noticed this?

The brakes work very well, they don't seem to be worn. 65 Fury Convert 05-13-2002, 07:52 PM Some brakes squeal from not having anti-squeal applied between the metal baking plate and the caliper - or some vehicles have anti-squeal plates that might not have been installed properly. Either way, doesn't sound dangerous. I'd just live with it. 4Wheelin 05-14-2002, 02:55 AM Check out the front radius arm bushings. I had the same exact problem and thought it was my brakes too. |
