For those of you who have a tranny temp gauge, where did you mount it?

Opinions,,,,,

I have gauges in my center console and one above the dash. You also have the option of the a-pillar. I'd get a dual a-pillar pod to give you space for another gauge that you'll eventually want: they multiply!

Do you have a better picture or a drawing on how you created the filler piece for the console?

Thanks....

It's an Autometer mounting panel: http://www.autometer.com/hp/2001_catalog/accessories/accessories_art/2237.jpg

The mounting holes at the top were threaded and bolted into holes drilled in the pocket.

EDIT: Go to Autometer.com , use the product search: accessories to gauge panels. You can also look for the apillar pods.

Thanks... I thought it was a custom fit unit, which is what I want to make,

I truly appreciate your help.

Alec, how much space is left in the console around the gauge panel?

Thanks....

About a 1/4" on the left, less than to 1/8" on the bottom and right. At first I didn't like the space, but on the left it's perfect for notes and stuff that I like to have handy ;)
