Opinions,,,,, Alec 05-13-2002, 12:03 PM I have gauges in my center console and one above the dash. You also have the option of the a-pillar. I'd get a dual a-pillar pod to give you space for another gauge that you'll eventually want: they multiply! http://homepage.mac.com/alec_rosenbaum/.Pictures/SC%20pix/farconsole.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/alec_rosenbaum/.cv/alec_rosenbaum/Sites/.Pictures/2%2D16%2D02%20Truck%20Pics/2%2D16%2D02%20EGT%20Gauge.jpg-thumb_273_205.jpg aldive 05-13-2002, 12:15 PM Do you have a better picture or a drawing on how you created the filler piece for the console? Thanks.... Alec 05-13-2002, 12:20 PM It's an Autometer mounting panel: http://www.autometer.com/hp/2001_catalog/accessories/accessories_art/2237.jpg The mounting holes at the top were threaded and bolted into holes drilled in the pocket. EDIT: Go to Autometer.com , use the product search: accessories to gauge panels. You can also look for the apillar pods. aldive 05-13-2002, 02:05 PM Thanks... I thought it was a custom fit unit, which is what I want to make, I truly appreciate your help. aldive 05-13-2002, 02:09 PM Alec, how much space is left in the console around the gauge panel? Thanks.... Alec 05-13-2002, 02:23 PM About a 1/4" on the left, less than to 1/8" on the bottom and right. At first I didn't like the space, but on the left it's perfect for notes and stuff that I like to have handy ;) |
