View Full Version : Can I replace the oil pan gasket with the tranny out?

I'm getting my 5 speed rebuilt, & I'm getting the rear main seal replaced. With the tranny out, can I replace the oil pan gasket, or do I still need to jack the engine up. Also what is the recommened gasket to use? Can someone give me a part # for a 94 sport 4X4?

Jason I am glad to see you are getting your tranny rebuilt you have a sweet truck:D I think you will still have to jack the motor though:D
