I removed the pump/reservoir combo from my 92 xlt, the problem I'm having is getting them apart! The shop manual suggests putting the pump in a vise and lifting up, which didn't work!
Also, I disconnected the pressure hose, and everything I've read says replace the teflon seal. I never saw the seal/ don't know if I had one on. I went to Auto Zone and the guy told me they only sell the whole hose. He was a jerk anyway and probably didn't want to look it up. Does Ford have these? Does Auto Zone have them? I should've asked the other guy there, I guess. Thanks!:)

In case any of you were wondering, I got the reservoir off by hitting the pump (on the mounts) with a mallet. It did not damage the pump at all. I'm at the tail end of the project, but can't seem to get the insert at the end of the pressure hoe off (I'm replacing the hose). So, hopefully Ford has it. The don't have parts for the pumps anymore as they don't recondition them, so hopefully this isn't technically part of the pump!

Yes Ford has the nylon seals available. They cost something like $.50 -$.75 each.
