After having my original cd player stolen, I used my insurance money to get a Sony CDX-MP70, and man, that is one great cd player! If anyone wants an alternative to getting new subs, get one of these players. It sounds like I have two 10" subs in the rear, and all my speakers are factory. It is sooo cool:D

I have always thought of getting a new deck or adding a sub or upgrading speakers to my existing system but it never seems worth the $$$ after I had the system in my old car stolen :mad:

Anyway, I'm glad your happy with the purchase! :D

It seems now that I am going to have to use the detachable face feature a lot more than I did before:(

i know people say that to an experienced thief they wont be deterred but most will. on my F150 i had a massive alarm system protecting my 3 10"s 1600 and 550 watt amps (all this in a standard cab :eek: ) and let me tell you, a bird could crap on the tailgate and the alarm would go off. in fact i even got called to the principals office once because whenever it rained my alarm would go off nonstop and i refused to turn it off. :D

that's always a good idea. my friend had her CD player stolen in her own driveway.

That just stupid, that is something I would do to one of my friends just to mess with them!
No, I do not have an alarm. I used to but I had it taken out because it became a nuisance. I am probably going to put the little LED light back in just to deter people.
I also had a friend that had EVERYTHING stolen out of his car while it was at his house. He had a serious sound system, and it was all taken, they also took one of his Ventshades, figure that one out! Though he did have the Rockford Fosgate and JBL stickers all over his car, and after that I promptly removed my MTX sticker that I had on my Ex when I had speakers.
