ok ive read the thread about painting the blue ford emblems, i know what i need to do. thats not the problem. problem is how the hell do i get the emblems off?????? i took that rear piece above the liscence plate off and saw that there were 2 little bolt looking things and i tried taking the front grill off to get at the front emblem and i got frustrated and gave up....now im here to ask for your help. please help!!!!!!!! thanks!

yeah i tried it and you have to slip a screw driver in between the plastic and the emblem. just PRY and it should unstick.

I havent done the front yet but for the rear I took the panel off like u said, ran some fishing line behind the emblem and used a sawing motion, oh I heated it wif a blow dryer first. Then I went from behind with a screwdriver and pushed up thru the holes in the back and the whole emblem popped off. Just make sure it is heated well. Simple eh

Are you going to change the color of the emblem or the thing over the plate? I like to keep my emblems Ford Loyal Blue http://www.ford.com/NR/fordcom/images/en/home/brands/ford.gif

Oh, I forgot to say that I don't know how to seperate the emblem either.

well i want to paint the ford blue black to match my black truck, i also am thinking about painting that rear piece like you matt because it looks hot. umm roadenforcer...i dont understand your question do you mean the emblem or the rear piece? thanks for the help everyone.....does anyone know about the front emblem though? i dont know if its different because its a 2001. thanks
