I'm considering buying the Perry's fron fenders but want to see how it looks on late model explorers. Anyone have pics other than Rick's and Perry's?

Yeah the bolt right on. You line up the fender to the holes and drill in the fender.

Well let's get some. I've just about hacked all I can from my stock fenders...

I think I would get some in a heartbeat if I could get someone to put a grey "flare" on it like mine are now.

Yeah... I don't want them unless I can adapt the stock fender flares on them somehow. Mine are grey too, and it'd look pretty rough without maching plastic junk all over....

look at rick's...that's how they would look on a late model, except less agressive

As far as I know, Perry does not have them for 95 and up Explorers. He only has the 91-94 conversion to 95+. I don't know why they aren't availible. It seems like plenty of people here would be willing to buy them.

they will fit theres no question, cause when you do the late model swap the fenders are exactly the same as what we have. like Jason and others have said if i could keep the grey flares id get some but that would be HARD!

Well let's get Perry to donate some to me as kind of a "product test" on newer X's!

Anyone know what size tire could be run with these with just a Torsion twist?

Maybe Perry's would be willing to design these with a plastic "fender flare" for a little more money.

IMO, doing this is alot better than doing an IFS suspension lift because you don't raise your COG.

Hey guys, I have some for my 96 right now... I just need to get them painted first and then I'll put them on... It will probably be a couple of months though...

I'd say you could clear 33's no prob as long as they're shorter on the lower part behind the tires than stock. You might have to cut some of the inner fender back (like I already did) but nothing too major. I'd be willing to try them. :)

I'm seriously considering these now but have a couple of concerns. In order to clear 33's with these in the front, the rear will need to be lifted. Would an explorer look funny with these up front and a lifted rear?

Wife won't let me put them on until I paint them, she says it will look funny, they're white, and well my trucks burgandy...

I'm thinking I can clear 33's with these on, and I didn't get much out of the front of my truck with the TT... Thats why I got them...

Heath, did you get a quote as to how much painting them will cost you? Can any old body shop paint fiberglass?

I haven't gotten one yet... I plan to hopefully in the next week or so though... I believe any old shop can do it, but I could be wrong...
