Are there any other modifications I can do to make the ride a little smoother. I just replaced my shocks and I notice a little difference, but I feel like I can do something else to improve the suspension. Thanks for your help.

With the TTB suspension the 1st gen explorer is never going ride like a car or later model explorer, probably one of the many reasons ford ditched the TTB. You might want to look into some progressive rate springs, they did wonders on my street truck and thats with 55 series tires which don't promote a very good ride to start with.

You mean a softer ride? Rancho makes the RS9000 shocks, which are adjustable and you can just adjust them to the softest setting.
