well its not really me, but my friend is wondering how we could go about doing this.
He has a Che*y pick up with a hard top bed cover on it.
and he is wanting to purchase some mirrors and line the underside of the hard top bed cover with it.
its hard to explain but i think you can get what i'm saying
but the problem is how would we go about attaching the mirrors so that they could hang safely.
can anybody offer any suggestions
thanks in advance

How big would each individual mirror be?
If it was only two for the whole bed, then he could run a strip of plastic on every side, plus one down the middle.
The plastic could overlap the mirror edge, thus holding it in.
It would work the same way the rocker panel plastic holds down the carpet in your door sill.

Seems like it would be best to attach it to some sturdy plywood, then attach the plywood to the cover. The mirrors are destined to shatter if you try and attach them to the cover.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use glass' use plastic.
Tou can simply cut to fit and use something like Liquid Nails to attach,
Good luck.....

Along the same lines as Aldive, use the Liquid Nails to attach wood strips to the roof and then fasten the mirrors (or plastic) to the wood strips. I have not seen the Liquid Nails fail yet!
hmmm: mirrors, tweed? What else? soft romantic music and candles? A rotating air mattress?

Check out Plexiglass suppliers in your area; you can get a 4x8 sheet of Mirrored Plexi and trim it to fit the cover exactly. It comes in 1/8th inch and 1/4in and you can cut it with a Jig Saw.Thumbs up on Liquid Nails but that sucker is gonna be stuck to the Bed Cover forever.
Talk about disco balls and mirrors: I live around the corner from the Peterson Automotive Museum and caught the "Lowrider" exhibit that came through. Man,there were some slammin cars! One Eldorado had the doors open down with a Blackjack table for the passenger side, a Craps table for the driver's side and a roullete wheel in the back seat. Some of it was just over the top.
