Hey, I have had my new 2002 xlt for a month now and I seem to have a problem with the tail gate window opening all by itself while driving down the road. This has happened at least 4 times now. I took it to the dealer and they cannot duplicate the problem and they just put 50 miles on my baby trying to get it to pop open. I don't feel safe if the back window pop's open and something, even the dog falls out the back.

Anyone have this problem?

Wow, that sucks!
I know they had a problem with the glass shattering for a while, but I think they fixed it. Does it have a switch that opens the back door? My dad's Pathfinder does. If so, maybe it is a switch or something. Dunno.

Maybe your accidently hitting the button on your key fob to open the back window. Who knows. I have never heard of this problem before. Sorry to hear about it.

Did you have them check the latch and electronics that control its opening from the remotes? That could be a dangerous flaw if it isn't fixed.
